Vintage Karla Jordan necklace 20″ with black plastic shell shaped pendant and beaded necklace design. Retro/Boho with that 1970s 1980s vibe. slight scuffing on front of “shell” see pics. Jordan became interested in jewelry-making in the ’70s while teaching deaf children on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. When she returned to Wisconsin, she continued to work with artisans and eventually started selling jewelry to department stores.
